Clowns are scary!  They are the real life horror that walk among us.  It’s like watching a horror movie that you know will scare you, but you watch anyway.  The demented fascination with clowns, as happy joyous figures entertaining children but are really evil monsters who eat children, continue to be the source of amusement.  Scary clowns don’t bring joy but there is a still a fascination with them.  What’s really happy and joyous about dead pale white skin and an over size blood red grinning mouth?  If you’re an horror fanatic, scary clowns are the real life walking horror in our everyday lives.

And to add to the fascination with scary evil clowns, Stephen King’s book and movie “It” introduced Pennywise the homicidal clown.  Pennywise gave new life to our childhood fears of clowns:  Clowns might look harmless but they WILL eat you.  King made real what only lurked in our heads about clowns.  Since the mid 80′s, we can attribute our irrational fears of scary evil clowns to King’s Pennywise.
